Le Meridien Gallia - Milan

Location. The Le Meridien Gallia hotel in Milan, Italy, is located next to Milan's Central Station. The hotel is within two kilometres of the Duomo cathedral, Castello Sforzesco and Brera Art Gallery. The hotel is six and a half kilometres from Milan's Linate Airport.
Hotel Features. Opened in 1932 and with an Art Nouveau exterior, the Le Meridien Gallia hotel has a marble lobby decorated with 18th century Venetian cabinets and Middle Eastern rugs. The hotel has a garden and an onsite gift shop.

The marble floored Gallia's Restaurant has floor to ceiling windows, gold drapes and blue and gold panelled walls. The restaurant serves Lombardy specialities such as Milanese veal cutlet. A changing monthly menu uses fresh local ingredients. Dark wood walls contrast with Art Deco mosaics in the hotel's Baboon Bar.
