Montanus Hotel - Bruges

The Montanus Hotel in Bruges is set in a 19th century stucco fronted mansion, formerly the home of Bruges mayor and renovated to house 24 chic retreats. It is located 150 meters from the central market square and the Beguinage. The 24 guestrooms are furnished with elements of traditional design and contemporary fittings. Some rooms are set in the hotel's large and peaceful garden. All have toiletries, minibars and modem Internet connections.
Business guests can make the most of the modern conference rooms, equipped with presentation equipment. With prior notice and for a fee, the hotel can arrange transportation to and from the airport. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, although Maximilliaan van Oostenrijk and Noord Kant come highly recommended. The hotel also boasts a 1200 square meter private garden, where guests can relax away from the bustle of Bruges. Brussels Airport is 90 minutes and 120 kilometers away. There are two trains per hour from Brussels Noord and central stations to Bruges. Bruges can easily be explored on foot, although a cheap and reliable bus service is also available. Cars and coaches are not allowed into the center of the town, although visitors can take a trip by boat or romantic horse drawn carriage.
