Metropole Hotel - Brussels

Location. Set in a converted 19th century building, the landmark Metropole Hotel is located on Place de Brouckere in central Brussels, Belgium. The hotel is one block from Rue Neuve and within 500 metres of the Grand Place square, Manneken Pis statue and the Chocolate Museum. Brussels Airport (BRU) is 16 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The lobby evokes 19th century grandeur with bronze marble, gold columns and huge chandeliers. Built in 1895, the Metropole is the city's oldest hotel.

Restored to glory in 2002, the baroque style L'Alban Chambon restaurant features stained glass windows, ochre marble columns and parquet floors. The restaurant serves French flavours like risotto of Saint Jacques scallops and wild boar in a sesame seed crust. Champagne is served in the sofly lit bar. Opening onto a heated, canopied terrace, the Caf? Metropole offers a selection of light meals and pastries. Guestrooms. The Metropole Hotel's 305 air conditioned guestrooms are individually designed. Rooms are decorated in warm hues with high ceilings, heavy drapes and Art Deco touches.
